I'm looking for Halloween activities for my toddler (2 1/2) that include trick or treating. Ideally it would be somewhere that she could visit a lot of places in a short distance. I live in a nice neighborhood but the houses are pretty spread out and I could see my daughter getting tired after a couple of houses. Has anyone participated in the Downtown FM Halloween Fun activities before? Is it worth a trip? I've only been through downtown a couple of times (very new to the area, just over a week) and it doesn't seem like a very happening spot (no offense).

My neighbor tells me that all the kids descend on Baxter Village. The houses are close to the street and very close together. You can hit a lot of houses fast.

This is true. My parents live there and ended up going through close to 20 bags of candy last year before having to turn out the front porch light.

Knightsbridge is also a great choice - last year it was OFF THE HOOK - the folks there REALLY go all out to make it as entertaining as possible for the trick or treaters. I'm talking firepits and chairs at the end of the driveway, music blasting from some houses, funny costumes, food on the grill. And this is the people who are *passing out* the candy.

There is one guy who supposedly has his house in BV wickedly done up every year. They even mentioned it in the FM Times.
