Ok, yes, I know we are in a drought, hard to miss that.
And yes I fully understand having restrictions and back them up, and comply.

HOWEVER.......We have been in this drought for a good 4 months or so correct? And has not the weather forecasters, advised several times, that this drought is going to continue till next Spring? (warmer and drier winter than usual)...

Please will someone tell me why oh why then, these counties, continue to issue building permit after building permit after building permit, to put up yet another stick built one house the same after the other, knowing full well, well golly gee whiz if we're in a drought now, what'll 2008 be like with an additional say 3000 more homes?

I'm sorry, I don't get it.

Then Monroe, decides to raise the price of water for their residents, to help ensure conservation? How many building permits did they issue in the last 3 months?

I'm sorry, I don't get it.
