Help!! I am looking for a nice, clean, apartment or house to rent that is 30 minutes or less to Lancaster. I will be relocating to begin work at the hospital there. I have looked at many many places, but trying to keep my rent expense down due to the fact I will be renting out my house (or selling) in NC.
I have two cats, outside smoker (rarely), single and very clean. I am a professional and very conscious of being responsible, clean and accountable.
I need 2 bedrooms (1 for an office) and have pretty large, very nice furniture. Any advice anyone can give in helping find something to meet my needs would be greatly appreciated. I need to be in the area November 24th.
Lancaster itself doesn't have a lot to offer in the way of newer or upscale rental apartments. Your best bet might be to rent in the Ballantyne area of South Charlotte where there are tons of apartments to be found, plus many amenities for shopping, dining, gyms, etc. You would have a "reverse commute" to Lancaster that would probably take 35 min. to the Springs Hospital. Also, the Indian Land area in the upper panhandle of Lancaster County has quite a few new condo complexes and by now I would think some of those may be rented or leased out. Good luck on your search and on your new job--that's a good hospital!
There's a 2 bed/2ba duplex near me for rent. Would be perfect, but living room may be too small for your furniture. Very nice quiet area, close to lancaster but in just inside Fort Mill.
