Am looking around for a studio/1 BR apartment in Rock Hill or Fort Mill. Any recommendations for apartments in Rock Hill or Fort Mill? Am looking for a max price of $600. Thanks!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but $600 won't get you anything in Ft Mill.

Default Apartments

I am not sure if the OP is just looking for inexpensive apartments, or has a need for income based housing. If it is the later I know there are a few in Fort Mill.

You might check out: Forest Ridge - Apartments in Ft. Mill, SC

Also there was a poster that use to contribute on this site that was a manager of low income apartments.

While the thread is a bit dated I think there is information there that can still be useful.

Check out Gable Oaks and Brookstone apartment complexes in Rock Hill. Paces River may also have some deals going.

I think you could get a 1br in Fort Mill for about $100 more per month. If you can't swing that, then I would check out Rock Hill.

Default 1 bedroom apartments

Forest Ridge is Low Income Tax Credit. Or, income restricted (not based on income). They only have 3 bedrooms.

You can get a good price on a one bedroom at Gable Oaks, which is close to I-77 and Fort Mill.

However, there is very limited availability in both Fort Mill and Rock Hill. If you are offered to go on a waiting list, do it!!

Also, check Craigslist. There have been a lot of advertisements for 1 bedroom apartments since Winthrop University let out for the semester.

My 1br at paces river in rock hill was $569 when I moved in. We are under new management and have since moved up to $619, but I'd reccomend it! The studios/1BRs in RH I looked at below 600 (which was my price range when I first looked) weren't as great as this one.
