We're planning to move to Fort Mill with an upcoming high schooler. How, specifically, do the two high schools compare? Do each have certain areas of strengths vs. the other? How do teachers, facilities, students, course offerings, academic and athletic opportunities compare?

They are both great schools. NFHS has an award winning band, top in the state. Both have ample athletic opportunities. In the past FM usually has a better football team, but NAFO beat them (barely) this year.

Academically you can't go wrong with either school. NAFO is newer, opened in 2007. My boys are at NAFO, but we would've been fine with FM too.

Default Nation Ford and Fort Mill High

I just thought that I'd add the following: if there's a class that is offered at one school but not the other...the student has the opportunity to be bused to the other school that does have the class.
