In York County, is there anything that can be done about people leaving pets outside in the cold? I've seen various articles saying as long as the pet has a shelter w/ hay inside, theres nothing animal control can do. Any truth to that? I don't want to waste their time on this but it seems pretty wrong for people on my street to be doing this.

My first thought is who the **** would leave their pet outside during below freezing temperatures?

Sadly, plenty of people. I don't understand the logic. Thus why I want to see if theres anything that can be done, legally.

If you call the Humane Society you'll get a similar answer. Roof, food, water = they can not help.

A neighbor pet died of exposure because the fools had the very old animal clipped of all their hair. There are responsible pet owners and then there are .............

My first thought is...this is why I love my/all dogs more than I do people.

My second thought is...I hope when these people are laid out for their funeral their families dress them in their absolutely warmest attire. Karma's a real 'b****' and oh so appropriate here.
