I have tried stopping the delivery of this free newspaper but I cannot seem to get them to stop. Has anyone successfully stopped getting the Fort Mill Times weekly newspaper?

Since it is free, there's nothing to "cancel." Consider storing them and donating them to the York County Humane Society, or some other animal rescue group, who could always use them. That's what we do (although we do read the paper each week). We stack them in our garage and once we have a fair amount, we drop them off with a rescue group.

I wish they would stop throwing it on our lawn/driveway/street. I didn’t realize littering was ok if it’s a newspaper.

I currently recycle them but would gladly donate them. Sadly they often get wet. I've seen the guy who throws them out of his car in my neighborhood. He never stops, just chucks them out as he drives, usually around 10-11pm.

I know its free, but why do we have to accept something because its free? I bet if I started my own newspaper and tossed it out to people, I would be getting complaints to stop.

DaysofThundr46 You can cancel delivery. I cancelled mine. Call the Herald or Charlotte Observer. The same company provides distribution for all of them. I know because I used to work for them! Trust me, you can cancel even though it is free.
