We never heard of having to pay anything like this, and our bill was never this high. We previously lived in Mooresville, NC and our bill was always around $65 a month. In fact, that's what our first bill would've been if this wastewater collection fee wasn't included. Is it like this throughout SC??
Inside the city limits of RH the last bill shows water inside city residential to be $10.43. Usage was 464. There is also a small charge for sewer of $18.99 or a total of $29.42. It has never been much more than that. Even when water usage was higher at 987 the cost was only $11.48. That's very low cost per gallon or whatever since the 987 was double the 464. It doubled and cost increase was only $1.05.

And you can thank the York County Council for giving Blue Granite a 25 year monopoly last year to screw over residents who get their water/sewer from these guys. https://www.heraldonline.com/news/lo...198711904.html
