Does anyone know what the story is with that place on 521 near Indian Land? It's that kind of run-down looking house/building with a sheet metal fence around the back and they have a sign outside complaining about corruption and police in Lancaster...

The man that lives there has been a resident of Indian Land forever. If I'm not mistaken he was actually born in Indian Land. If you ever see an older gentleman riding a bicycle (orange construction vest and and usually a contruction hat) that is him. Some people say he is "crazy" and I have had others say he is really just too smart for his own good and is definitely not a people person.

That is all I know about him.

I've seen that guy riding his bike on 521. Interesting.

Another strange thing I wonder about when I see it while driving is the weird signs along Crane Road just off of Rea across from the church in Union Co.

Cool - I have seen the guy on the bike on some days so it's neat to make the connection to that home. I used to commute from Pineville to Lancaster down 521 several years ago and it is soooo different and more built-up now. I imagine it could be overwhelming when someones pretty rural home is now in the midst of a booming area. Thanks for the info!
