Hello Everyone

We are a young Family of four looking to relocate to northern SC
I have been looking at Rock Hill and the towns north of there.

Is there a big Difference between northern Rock Hill and Southern Rock Hill?

My current town is way smaller than Rock Hill and the RH crime numbers are jumping off the screen

Any thoughts?

Northern Rock Hill is the better choice. Also, I would recommend looking at other sections in this area including:

1. Fort Mill
2. Indian Land
3. The town of York

I will preface that the latter three suggestions are based on the schools. And of course COVID has perhaps temporarily altered that metric a bit...but that’s the case everywhere in America.

Forget about the crime numbers; Rock Hill encompasses a very large area, and crime is confined to certain parts near Downtown, and the York County Tax Clerk offices.

Northern RH has some density near the Lake, but much of it is more rural like. It's very nice.

Parts off of Cherry Road have greater density, there's a bit more petty crime in certain areas off of Cherry, but it's nothing bad.

If you go way south in RH, that too, is very nice. The Lesslie area is also within Rock Hill's zip code, and it too, is low crime and nice. Lesslie is spread out, and it's very convenient to shopping.
