Anyone have any thoughts or insight on Glenn Laurel? It is a new Ryan neighborhood located just off of Carolina Academy on 521 about 3 miles from the heart of Ballentyne (which seems to be a great location). We were wondering about the quality of the Lancaster county schools, namely IndianLand and the quality of the homes. Noticed that you can get the same Ryan floorplans in neighborhoods in Union County that start 20K more expensive, we feel like there has to be a reason they are so cheap there but with it being just 3 miles from the pillars in Ballantyne it seems hard to believe it is location alone...

Thanks in advance...

Not Sure But We Plan On Checking Them Out As Well As The Fort Mill Areas. Their Schools Are Better Than Charlotte, Cheaper Property Tax

Good Luck

My folks live in the development and seem to like it. There's a lot of "older" people in there for them to pal out with. I seem to think they only have 2 more lots left for some reason. I did notice that they "shoved" a few more houses in up at the front where the model parking lot was etc...

They may be building more across the road. There'a lot of land in that area to be built on. Mercedes Homes is putting a huge development there also.

Good Luck
