My family and I are relocating from Ohio to the Fort Mill area very shortly. I was wondering what communites are located withing the Fort Mill High School district. My wife and I are leaning toward sending my oldest son (14) to that school based partly on its established athletic program. (He is a wrestler) I understand that both of the high schools in this area are excellent as far as academics. I will be coming down next weekend to start working on the 18th, and my family will be joining me as soon as we sell our house in Ohio. We are looking at spending in the 185-230 price range. Any information and guidance would be appreciated!
If you travel down Doby's Bridge Road, you will find some communities in York County go to Fort Mill HS. (WhiteGrove, Dominion Bridge, etc.) But if you cross into Lancaster county, the school is Indian Land HS. Most of the houses for sale in our neighborhood, Dominion Bridge, start in the low to mid 200's and go up to around 300. I do know there is one brand new home for sale in our neighborhood for around 220 - 230. I believe it's a 4BR, 2.5 bath on a cul-de-sac. It's one that apparently fell through on the sale and Ryan Homes just put it on the market. We moved here in March and really like the area. A lot of the people in our neighborhood are "transplants" from the Northern states. You will like Fort Mill!
Along Gold Hill Rd. - Knightsbridge, The Reserve, Eppington South and Waterstone.
All of Tega Cay go to Fort Mill HS, until they build their own high school, which I believe they will then take over Gold Hill Elem and Middle.
