Is there any place that I can find a good detailed map of the York Co./Lancaster Co. area? My AAA Charlotte map only goes down to Fort Mill and I wanted something that would include Rock Hill and Lancaster as well. Does the phone book have any local maps in it?

I'm begging Santa for a GPS for Christmas, but I need to be able to get around in the area from October until then!!

I wrote to the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce, 453 Colonial Avenue, P.O. Box 430, Lancaster, SC 29721 and they were most helpful. Sent a good map of Lancaster County and a lot of useful material.

Good luck with the GPS. Check out Tom Tom, they have a way of adding new data on the fly.
