im moving to Fort Mill the end of Nov, my question is, how is vehicle tax assessed? i have an '05 Acura TL with 52,xxx miles on it and im afraid i will have to pay an arm and a leg for her. Two, DL and my tag, those are fairly painless, right? TIA

You should simply call the York County Tax Assesor and they can tell you.

You need your street address because where in Fort Mill you live will impact the millage rate

York County Government > Home

For the DL you need to have SC proof of insurance and the requisite forms of identification.
They are pretty picky if you don't show up the right documents they will send you walking.
