Hey Six in the Family,
We used the following:
For a fence we used...AAA Suburban Fence company 980-722-7241, ask for Ginger. They did excellent work and a good price on a maintenance free fence. For an in-ground pool we used...Anthony Slvan 704-759-9550, ask for Brian. Again, excellent workmanship. Side note..my family is also from outside Philly...moved to Tega Cay ~ Xmax 2005. I can't believe we've been here two years. Any questions, send me a note.

If your still checking this post I can tell you that we got our kids swingset from Rainbow swingsets in Charlotte. It is by far superior to any other brand out there. We shopped everywhere and kept going back to rainbow. Look around for ads as they always have promotions that will save you big bucks!

There are so many swingsets in the neighborhood, I decided just to have the kids go to the neighbors houses after dark. Priceless!

Is every transplant in Fort Mill from Pennsylvania or New Jersey? Wow! I'm surprised there is anyone left.

there are of few of us ex-Californians sprinkled in as well.
...although I am not as surprised by all the folks from PA..due to the fact that much of Fort Mill's history derives from there (Fort Mill Times — Fort Mill Township (broken link))

You would be shocked by the amount of people from Ohio, now that is a state I am suprised anyone is left in. My neighborhood is like the Northeast replanted.

I am originally from Ohio, and I am surprised anyone is left, too. I've been in Las Vegas for 11 years and considering heading to the Charlotte area. It seems like every thread has info about folks in PA, especially Philly, and their displeasure with property taxes there. This site has just been a fantastic resource for someone like me wanting to learn more.

As another transplant from Philly... I think some of it is probably that there are quite a few banks in the Philly/Wilmington area so it is an easy place to make a job change from within the same company or at least the financial industry. But your right paying 20% of what we used to pay in taxes doesn't hurt
LTC- thanks for the link to the article, you are as always such a great source of information!
