Hi,
I'm moving from a subdivision off of Hwy 160 in Fort Mill, SC to a subdivision near Carowinds Blvd also in Fort Mill. I'm a single female w/ no family in the area or close enough to help w/ the move, and I really don't know anyone here other than my co-workers, so I need help w/ the move. I'm looking for a licensed and bonded company which will offer me some recourse if any of my things are damaged. I am scheduled to move in the weekend of May 1st. I'm open to just hiring movers and renting a truck myself or hiring a company w/ both. I'm very maticulous about my things as most of them are quite expensive and paid for in full. I'm also looking for these services to be relatively inexpensive. The move will consist of moving furniture from my storage off of Hwy 521 and from my cousin's townhouse off Hwy 160 to the house that I'm moving into. I would be very grateful for any advice you all could offer! Thanks!

I am moving soon and am going to hire the movers and I will drive the truck. I am going to save over $400 by doing it this way. You will need to find out about each company you hire though to make sure they are insured.
