Description: Platt College offers an associate of applied science degree in computer graphic design and multimedia design, and a bachelor of science degree in media arts. Diplomas are awarded in the areas of multimedia/animation, Web design, graphic design, and digital video production. In the graphic-design program, students learn form, color, typography, and the development of design skills. Other curricula include digital editing and postproduction, Web-site animation, game animation, organic 3D animation, and motion graphics/special effects. One of the college’s primary goals is to help students find careers related to their field of study, so they maintain an active placement-assistance program for their graduates. Coursework is normally completed within one to two and a half years, depending on the field of study chosen.
