All of the amenities of the Kennebunks—from the sea to the shopping—are right out the doors of these assisted-living apartments (studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom). There are 66 units for rent, eight of which are for folks suffering from Alzheimer’s. (Rental fees range from $3,075 to $4,250 per month, depending on the unit.) Three meals are served daily, and housekeeping happens on a weekly basis. The facility has a library and a beauty salon on the premises, and the activity calendar is reportedly busy here. From condos to Alzheimer’s units, the place has a wide array of options for seniors. Most, however, live in independent apartments that are rented for anywhere from $2,175 to $5,600 a month. Three meals a day are served, and amenities include an exercise program, a beauty salon, a library, and an activities room. And then, of course, there’s everything to do in the Kennebunks and you’re right on the river.
