Description: A half a mile from the Parkway, Clabough’s is actually two campgrounds bisected by a city street. The 320 full-hookup sites here include 15 along Walden’s Creek, and the fees range from $33 to $37 in high season. The campground is large enough for two swimming pools, and it also includes a game room arcade, three laundries, and a playground. The campground is situated far enough off the road to provide seclusion from the traffic, and for convenience, the campground also offers an on-site grocery store/gas station/deli. The Pigeon Forge Fun Time trolley stops at the entrance to Clabough’s as well as inside the campground.

Description: More like a city of temporary shelters than anything else, King’s has been a family-owned operation since the 11-acre park was part of a farm purchased by the family in 1928. King’s is open year-round, with special activities during the summer season. The Friday night gospel sing in the pavilion is a local tradition. Full-hookup rates vary from $22 to $32, depending on the time of year. Monthly rates are available on request.

Description: Eagle’s Nest is open year-round and its 200-plus sites feature extra-wide spaces for units with slide-out rooms or awnings. Seasonal rates are $30.00 to $32.50 (slightly higher in October) for full hookup, $29.00 for water and electric service, and $26.00 for tent spaces. Off-season rates are lower. The campground also offers nine air-conditioned cabins from April to mid-October that include a small refrigerator. Cabin rates are available on request.

Description: A quiet, comfortable, family atmosphere prevails at Foothills RV Park, tucked in the woods less than 100 yards from the Parkway. Its 38 full-hookup sites on shady level ground are complemented by 21 log cabins with great views of the mountains, as well as smaller A-frame cabins and rustic camping cabins.Foothills is open from April through October, with sites renting for $29 a night. The one-room cabins have heating and air-conditioning, cable TV, microwaves, refrigerators, outdoor charcoal grills, and picnic tables, and some also have covered porches with rocking chairs. They start at $30 and go up to $75 a night for two people. The camping cabins are $40. Downtown Pigeon Forge is less than a mile up the Parkway, and the trolley stops at the office.

Description: This park is handily located just off Wears Valley Road, only a couple of blocks from the Parkway. The site features five lighted baseball/softball fields, two outdoor basketball courts, six lighted tennis courts, a lighted volleyball court, a horseshoe pit, and a playground. A 1.25-mile walking/jogging trail surrounds most of the area, and you’ll also find two covered picnic pavilions here. Although there is no cost to use the pavilion, city officials do recommend making reservations since it is frequently in use.
