Our market is really broad. It touches on nearly every segment of population, thou presently majority of our customers are rather affluent residents of the Eastside. Our Company provides service to anybody as long as trip is originated within King County.
We find ourselves in rather enviable position, being able to take advantage of turmoil within taxi industry, volatility of their prices and less than stellar service, by providing economically desired pricing (flat rates), minimal wait time and friendly staff (both drivers and dispatchers).
The greatest strength of this Company is its people. Our drivers are without a doubt some of the best in taxi industry, with experience ranging from three to 20+ years. We are able to keep our overhead low, because each driver owns his vehicle and through their experience they already learned that building customer base is more important that momentary gain of a single trip. Obviously customer pick-up and drop-off is one of them. However we do not stop there. We gladly pick-up packages, flowers, documents or even human blood and organs and deliver them to its destinations. We service medical clinics, pharmacies and hospitals, transporting patients to their appointments and back home. One of our services, very popular among busy parents is a “school run”, where we picking up child from home, taking them to school or vice versa. Another example of special service we provide is “grocery run”. It is an important part of our daily schedule, especially on the Eastside, where many people do not own or use vehicles daily for personal or environmental reasons. We do have rather large group of regular customers who use us mainly for that purpose, at least once or twice a week, round-trip.
Most important factor that gives us an advantage over any other company is an unparallel level of service. It begins with a call for a pick-up or future reservation. Our call-takers/dispatchers are paid livable, hourly wage and get no incentives for number of calls processed, therefore they feel no pressure to quickly “move-on” to the next caller. They take time, making sure our customers are happy. They practice call-backs in case of any delays and we see this as one of the reasons we have such high number of return customers (no other company practice that). Once the call is sent to a driver, he has at his disposal state-of-the-art computer system and GPS, but the most important part of the service is a driver himself. Keeping or loosing customer depends on his skill and salesmanship. Upon arrival at customer location driver makes a personal call, letting them know he arrived and is ready for pick-up. If for any reason, there is no answer, driver goes to the door, to personally let the person know he is there (again, this kind of behavior is a rarity in this industry). Drivers are well trained and experienced in map reading and their knowledge of the city. Many of them are CPR and First Aid trained and our goal is to train entire staff.
