- We are a locally owned and operated family business established in Bristol in 1990 and recently VOTED #1 SEAFOOD RESTAURANT by Bristol Herald Courier Readers due to a very unique and extensive seafood selection. We offer SERIOUS SEAFOOD prepared in the Calabash style made famous in the Calabash, NC seaport area. This is fresh seafood, broiled or lightly breaded (with our own mix) and fried in pure trans fat vegetable oil. A specialty at Fishtales Pigtales Café is CHICKEN TENDERS. We refer to them as our “WORLD FAMOUS” chicken tenders because of their reputation as the very best. These tenders are made from FRESH never frozen chicken.
