Electronic and remotely operated systems on windows is a new and exciting feature of the many of Sun-Ex’s vast service options. When Sun-Ex Venetian Blinds first opened their doors in 1937, they were immediately contracted to invent the first Levolor blind for the U.S. Government. During WWII Our 2 Inch Blinds were created to block light from escaping windows to avoid detection during possible Arial raids. These blinds would also prevent window glass projectiles injuring people from bomb blasts and Earthquakes in Southern California. These blinds were installed in all public and government buildings across the Southland during this period. After the war we created the processes of cleaning, repairing and refurbishing window blinds to maintain all the blinds and shaes we sell that set the standard for the world. Many of the blinds in the entire Southern California School system are still working perfectly for over 50 years due to our restoration process, quality, and workmanship.
