- The Bee Hive is a 12 bedroom assisted living home built in 2004 especially for Seniors with a capacity for 14 residents, including two rooms for married couples. Our concept is of an extended family and everyone knows one another. We feature private bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. We have central heat and air, a great room and dining room and ceiling fans in each room. We have a caregiver on site 24/7 and offer assistance with bathing, dressing, medications and other acts of daily living. We have a consulting nurse on call as well as a consulting pharmacist. Our cooks prepare all homemade meals and work from a dietitian approved menu and make adjustments for taste and diets. All our rooms are carpeted with closet and you can choose to use our furniture, your own or mix the two. We encourage our residents to decorate their rooms with personal items, pictures and family photos. We include housekeeping, laundry, all meals and cable TV. We have a patio with fountain and rose garden. We provide activities and entertainment and celebrate holidays with special family potlucks for family and friends. We have on-site non-denominational religious services and invite family and friends to visit any time.
