My elderly father and I stopped to eat lunch at the Orange Box Café on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 ... This was the biggest mistake we made that day ... Both of us became ill after eating there (nausea and diarrhea) ... While we were there we went to the salad bar and a lady was removing some of the tubs of salad bar items and brushing her hand over the salad area to shoe away the flies ... I remarked; "really you have flies at the salad bar"? She did not comment but removed one of the tubs there ... We both got some of the salad items and when I tasted the macaroni salad, I had to spit it out immediately as it was spoiled ... I told the waitress who said; "I'm sorry" but no one removed the mac salad from the salad bar ... The mashed potatoes were instant and when I said had I known this I wouldn't have ordered them the waitress again said; "I'm sorry".
