Dolly Parton
Im not big on Country but their is something unique about Dolly Parton that I can listen to her music with no strains.
When she sings you can understand the story she is telling through lyrics.
When she guest speaks what comes out of her mouth is sincere southern charm.
Dolly grew up in the poor type of life in fact she wrote lyrics before learning how to read and write.
Her first national hit was -- Dumb Blonde
and - Something Fishy
Soundtrack hits include:
Hard Candy Christmas from The Best Little Whorehouse of Texas and I will always love you and lets not forget islands in the stream
I guess what I like is she very light hearted and most of her music is uplifting.
Im sure Dolly is up there income wise but the good ol gal comes out of her and that is priceless.
