Faith During Storms

Matthew 8:23-26 (New International Version) -Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!" He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. - It's easy for most of us (it is for me) to have faith in God when everything is going well. But when storms come into our lives we might be tempted to think that now we'll handle things, because we know best about this situation. This is our natural reaction, but in his word God assures us that he is always with us. Even when Jesus was sleeping he wanted his disciples to trust him when things got rough (this must have been very hard for them to do.) Whenever storms strike us we need to remember what God says in
Hebrews 13:5 - "Never will I leave you;never will I forsake you." - We need to have faith in God when things are going well for us and during storms.
