Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter by the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. In the Bible Jesus describes himself as a narrow gate that leads to salvation that few find. The wide gate that we prefer because of our sin, leads to destruction because there is no other way to Heaven except through Jesus. He can make this claim because he is the Son of God, sent by his Father to be the only way to salvation for us. He died and rose for the sins of the entire world because God wants all people to come to faith in Christ and be saved. We all need to seek Christ and become his followers. If there was some other way, Jesus would not have had to pay for our sins on the cross. According to God's word, if we think we can save ourselves, we are headed for destruction. What About Jesus?
