More Snow?

Isaiah 1:18 -"Come now, let us settle the matter,"says the LORD."Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. - Where I live and in most of the U.S. people are pretty tired of seeing and hearing about snow this winter. It seems like it is snowing every time we turned around, so I can't blame anyone for not wanting to hear more about it. But in the book of Isaiah, believed to have been written about 740 - 681 BC, The Lord reminds us of his plan to make us sinless so we can be reconciled to him and live with him forever. He accomplished this by sending his son Jesus to be the only sacrifice for the sins of everyone. Most of us would agree that new fallen snow is just about the whitest thing we can think of, and in Isaiah 1:18 God says that is how he will see us because his son Jesus has paid for all our sins on the cross, and he says in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. He doesn't say that he thinks he's the way or that he's one of the ways, but that he is the way. He is the only one who can take away all our sins and make us as white as snow. What About Jesus?
