This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

My Buddy Dave stopped by last night, on his way to North Carolina.

He and his lovely Wife, Brenda, moved from West Virginia to the 'wilds' of North Carolina. They have a lake on thier property in which to fish and swim, plus, they incorporated that, into a fishery, so that they can raise thier own fish and sell off the extra!

They had to come back to get some things they left behind, when they sold thier house on land contract to thier relatives (big mistake, my Wife and I told them, but, they wanted out of there, to enjoy themselves back in the 'Tar heel' State). And, to add further troubles, they 'still' have to come back for some stuff they left, both in the house they sold, but in storage sheds also.

I cant understand thier relatives? They 'left' some stuff there for them, including a big screen TV, and when Dave and Brenda came back to get thier stuff, the people didnt even offer them, so much as a sandwhich to eat!! Pretty sad state of affairs in my opinion, and Brenda kept telling us, ''You were right! You told us this would happen and it did!!" (No, we didnt rub it in, we just felt sorry for them, and had a picnic lunch waiting for them at 9pm, when they finally got done from getting thier 'stuff' from that house-->they arrived at 9am, so, 12 hours with out food, sheesh!!).

When we knew they were coming in, my Wife told them we would have something for them to eat, when they get done with all the chores of packing, and any visiting they got in, while doing that in between.

I will say, the pasta salad, and baked beans my wonderful Wife cooked, were simply delicious, and we all chowed down LOL.

I will miss my buddy, Dave, and his lovely Wife Brenda. We loved to go and sit on thier porch, rocking, in the six rocking chairs they always kept on there for company, and drinking coffee, and a snack.

We would always have great discussions about the LORD'S Word, and the condition of the World, as we were 'like minded', and had great times. We went to Cabellas a few times as a family, and spent hours upon hours in that store... A hunters paradise

I do know, he wanted to get a new rod (telescopes out), so, when I get down there the next time, I will get that and send it down to him, so that he can go croppie fishing with the Grandkids.

OK, my Computer is messing up on me, so, I had better save this before I lose it all and have a lot of grief from that...(though, I did manage to copy it already, its the new stuff I type that I have to save LOL).

They will be calling us, as soon as they 'pull in' from thier journey, and I pray that the LORD will guide them on thier journey and keep them safe, if its 'HIS PLANS'.

I wish you well....
