Moving out.

Posted 04-28-2012 at 02:41 PM by txtqueen

TG asked me last night to move in with him and it won't be with the dreadful roommate he has now.

I won't go into details for personal reasons but we will be renting from his sister who has a house, we'll all be helping each other out. We'll have the basement which has a full bathroom. Paying $500-$700 a month and we'll be moving out very very soon. Most likely sometime in May or June, or even could be this month, we aren't sure yet.

I am so excited.
These big girl pants are actually pretty comfy, nice to wear when discussing finances and furniture and who's bring what.

This is going to be awesome.

We have a king sized mattress from his parents we're going to use and just put it on the floor for now and then save up for two twin XL box springs for it.
Taking my mini-fridge and I have my own microwave to bring as well.
Maybe my lamps.
All my clothes.
We'll see what else we need to take.

How this for doing something?

And the box springs would suit us better. The cheapest platform on there doesn't look all that great and mattresses feel different when you don't use box springs.

That is cute but more than we can afford.
Two box springs can be found for like $218 as I saw them one place. It would just be cheaper.

And no that looks more sturdy than his bed now, which we would have broken already if it couldn't withstand so that one would be just fine.

    Do it!!

    The sooner the better.

    Tonight if possible.

Call Future Land Lady and ask if she'll leave the key under the mat so you can move all your stuff in ASAP.

Just think! You really, truly will be the person posting on the internet from the basement. This is just too good to be true.

I shall cry tears of bitter disappointment if this falls through.

well, good luck. I'll believe it when I "see" it. You should probably consider contributing some furniture, dishes, etc everyone can use in addition to worrying about your room.

It is actually a nice house. It really is, finished basement with a full bathroom and a walk in closet, with room for a couch and living area possibly. It's super exciting.
