This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

One thing about living in the same Town that you were born in, you get to see how it either lives or dies as time goes by.

Also, you get to see the people you grew up with infrequently or on a continuous basis.

I have noticed the passing of quite a few classmates lately.

I watched as my Six Grade Classmates have passed, and now I am seeing those whom I have went to High School with, also passing.

Why people are dying so young, is beyond me, but, instead of living til thier 80s and 90s, they seem to be passing at a very young age these days.
Already, seven of my Six Grade Classmates are 'gone'. (I note that those are the people I grew up with, from Kindergarten clear til Six Grade, and after that, we changed Schools, so we didnt have the same classes together and rarely saw each other, so, Six Grade was a milestone for me, as well as High School.

I note that Joseph Brancazio passed away, because he worked at the Electric Supply Store right next to me, and i saw him daily.
Though, i rarely spoke to him, since he was either on break, (smoking ciggarrettes or doing other tasks for the business he worked for, but we did get an occasional "Hello".

Im continueing to go to the YMCA for my exercise routine of 2 to 3 times a week, and still bouncing up and down in weight from the water I keep retaining. Currently at 344 today and hopefully going down this time, since i peaked out at 350 last week.

My Cousin commented about me on FaceBook about 'will power', and I decided to add my opinion about what I thought that it meant.

Will Power "will power is overcoming a 'lesson in futility' when you know, no matter what you do, your not going to lose the weight, but, you still keep trying because others are pulling for you and you want to do it for yourself and them. Them, because they want to keep you around longer, and yourself, so that you can get out and do more things, with them LOL "

Now, whether its an accurate assessment of will power or not, its just my take on things that I perceive them as they be, or be to me.

Wife has the house all decorated for Christmas, and is hoping that my Daughter brings her new 'boyfriend' around for us to see him...
Im wondering how long she will keep this one, because she is like I used to be, finding flaws in everyone and after awhile, not liking anyone at all...(yes, I got over that years ago, and am a pretty jolly good fella now LOL... easy going and easy to talk to, (that last one my Daughter commented about me, which really shocked me to no end, especially when she always says her friends are 'terrified' of me, before they even meet me, so she must really tell them some horror stories about me to shake them to thier core, and I dont know why they are afraid of me before they even see me??????? Some day, I hope to get my Daughter to tell me what she said to them to really terrify the youngsters LOL...
Hmmm maybe I ought to apply for that Television Program 'GRIMM' as an Ogre??? )...

Christmas is coming up fast, and I have been watching every Christmas story that I can see on TV or DVR, just to get into the spirit of things...
I just love watching all those Programs about Christmas, and can sit for hours just doing absolutely nothing at all, (but, as I tell everyone, whats a partially disabled guy to do with himself, when he is retired and its cold outside??? sheesh LOL..)

My Wife did do something that suprised me...
She took a set of lights, that you put around bushes, or on top of bushes (dont really know how that works anyways), and spread them out and had me staple them to the window molding so that they hung in the window. They are between the blinds and the curtains, so that they reflect on both the inside and outside and they look Great!! Never would have thought that application of lights would have worked, because I thought they would have been 'molded' to be around bushes, but, again I am proven wrong as usual LOL... my Wife, such a wonderful woman.

And with that, I will wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS if I dont post before the Holiday comes upon us, and a HAPPY NEW YEAR, if i dont post before that one either!!!

I wish you well...
