Shootin iron...

Went out yesterday with my Son with my new 9mm hipoint pistol. I was surprised that I could hit a plastic coffee can, mounted on a post, from twenty feet away!
Considering I haven't shot anything for about three years since my last attempt at target practice, and forty some years since then from shooting a 45 caliber in the Marines for 'fam fire' (familiarization firing of the 45 to keep us abreast of armaments).
I didn't like the way the 9mm was loading up, since I had a tough time getting it to engage the slide, after the magazine was inserted, so, I now keep the pistol loaded and ready to shoot, incase of an intruder. LORD forbid I ever have to do that, as its a life changing experience to have to either injure or take a life from someone.
Gotta go for bloodwork today, my lower jaw is working overtime as if im chewing all the time.
Wife thinks its the new medication Im taking, but, I think its just my nerves looking for something to do LOL. Im sitting here, drinking black coffee, because she doesnt know if its fasting or not fasting for the bloodwork, and black coffee doesnt affect the out come of the tests.
