Getting Ready

The other night, my Wife told me that I should start getting the basement into shape so that I can 'find things' down there...(Her version of telling me that its time to start moving and getting motivated again!).
So, last night, I went downstairs and emptied one tub of 'stuff'... (nails, screws and stuff I had on the shelves before the 'remodel' came about and everything went off of peg boards and into plastic tubs).
I did note, that when the peg board was taken down off the wall, there was a lot of saw dust behind it and mold was trying to get started on the walls, because of the dust, so, I devised a plan for that. I was going to put hinges on the rafters and suspend the pegboard next time, (already had it on a frame, so that wouldnt be that hard). Problem is, they threw away all the peg board that they took off the walls!!!!!
I didnt know they were putting glass blocks down in the basement, so I didnt mind them going down stairs and using my tools if they needed to, (since I wasnt using them), but, I didnt know that they were going to take the peg boards off the walls, and didnt know they were going to pitch them in the garbage!!! I would have screamed at that one, regardless of a remodel or not, that was my 'baby' that basement... I had it just the way I wanted it... People would tell me that they wanted to 'shop' down in my basement because of the tools and everything else I had on pegboards in neat rows and all that LOL... But, I will have to figure out something again, try to find new peg boards or buy them if nothing else fails.
I still have the pegs for the pegboard, so that wont be hard to deal with, now, to just get my basement into the shape I want it to be in...
Fortunately, this is giong to take me quite a long time, and Im in no hurry to get this done, since I have to replace a lot of worn out tools anyways.
But, this is a start, to my way to fitness, because my Wife is always right on everything she does and knows, (Yes, I tell her that, even though Im still somewhat of a male chauvanist pig LOL...but, what guy isnt?), so I have to follow her lead.
Im going to the YMCA today to try and get a few pounds off, but, I still have to watch that salt, because my feet swelled up for a few days and hurt like crazy. The anti-seizure medicine only takes out the bee stings from my legs, but, does nothing for the pain of swelling and reduction of my feet, and they are in pain most of the time...it really shows when I have my Wife put on my socks and shoes, (Yea, my back and stomach wont allow me to get down and do that anymore, so I have to reduce that to be able to do it in the future).
OK, vicodin has been taken, 3 pills and gotta wait 20 minutes before I 'feel' something. (Dont know how people get 'high' off of vicodin, as it doesnt do much to me, but, maybe when your in pain, it isnt meant to do much...No buzz, but a wee bit of fuzz, and thats mild, after three pills).
I calculated the tylenol they use to cut that vicodin and it amounts to 975mg at one time, and if I add the fourth pill, (which I do from time to time at the YMCA), its a grand total of 1300mg of tylenol!!! I hope that I dont kill my kidneys someday, taking that much tylenol every other day for all this time...sheesh. No sense getting healthy and die in the process....
Ok, gotta go and do my thing...
