Room Done!

My Son's room is finally done.
Does it have drips, runs, and errors? YOU BETCHA!!

First, my Wife kicks me out of the room, because I am complaining too much that this is wrong, or that is wrong, or not done 'my way'.

Since my Brother in law is doing most of the work, (and thats debateable, since my Son and I ripped all the wood off the walls, he helped in the drywall, and I did too), my Wife 'insists' that I "LEAVE HIM THE F***K ALONE!!!"

OK, so, I agree to do so, and since she doesnt want me 'in the room' I stay 'OUT' of the room as much as possible.

When nothing is getting done, I tell her that 'I'm paying your Brother to do that'...Then the static starts flowing in my direction and my Sons, that she 'wants' the room DONE!

OK, so she has been sleeping on the couch for five weeks LOL...and, it was her idea to do that, because my Son 'works', and needs his rest..(sure, he sleeps on that 'slab' that she calls a bed that any funeral parlor would have for thier corpses to lay on!).

So, the room is almost done... THEN, after my Wife paints, she tells me that my Brother in law, covered up a 'receptacle' that my Son needs to plug his stuff into ROTFLOL
HooooBoy, was I besides myself in laughter!! I kept telling her that he was an idiot, and that I shouldnt of hired him, because he isnt the same person who I used to work besides, doing this and that, to our home many years ago... he is a nitwit that I put up with now, who wont listen to me when I tell him I want it done MY WAY...No!!! he has to do it 'his way', and my Wife finally told him, "your getting paid to do it 'my husbands way!

The 'mudding' wasnt up to standard.. lumps, tape showing through in the corners sheesh.

Then, to top it off, he tossed the trim for the window, OUT the window, and it laid in the yard for over a week, getting rained on, and warped and twisted. "I" was left to put it in, and I couldnt get it right, and left the last piece of trim for my Son to put on the bottom, and there was a full half of an inch gap in it...I was pissed to no end, started raving and ranting and stormed out of the room. My Wife intercepted me and I frankly told her, just do anything to **** me off more and I will knock you on your ass!!! (I've only once told my Wife that, when we were having a huge argument so many years ago, when we were first married and I was drinking). She gave me some bluster, but backed off, cause she saw hatred in my eyes that day, and, when her brother came up finally, I ranted and raved so much, he did the rest of the room and got out of there as soon as he could! He didnt want any money, cause he knew I was pissed off, but, I told my Wife, you told him you were paying him a certain amount, so, you pay him what you promised! I dont care if I think the job is crap, a deal is a deal, no matter what. Its my fault that I let my Wife badger me into leaving him to do a crappy job, and, because I get to be in so much pain when Im standing up for any amount of time, they dont want me to 'help out', but, I dropped the ball by not taking charge and insisting on what I wanted.

My Wife? She painted over everything. Walls, ceilings, sockets LOL... everything
She didnt care about all the imperfections in the room, all she wanted was to get the thing done and be done with it.

Now, my Son is moving back into his room, and getting everything out of the living room again.

Now, when you all read back on this mess, you will know my thoughts about this. Or, at least my Sis in law will tell my Wife whats going on, and she will know, I aint happy about the room, but, nothing I can do about it now.
We got the receptacle 'out' of the wall, and 'tightened' it up, (screws popped out when we were doing it, so we put more in and tightened the screws that 'popped' out, back in, then mudded over it...never did get to paint over that spot, cause she had my Son move his furniture back in, sheesh). Knowing my Wife, she will continue to paint everything, twice a year, Spring and Fall, when she does her big 'cleaning'...everything has to be 'white' and 'clean' sheesh

I ranted and raved too much already, so, will close for now.
