This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...
This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.
This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them
Chow for now...
May the LORD Bless all who see this.
I wish you well...

Broken Pelvis
Posted 12-10-2013 at 03:33 PM by woodworkingmenace
My Neighbor 'Liberty', (not her real name, its something in Greek, and we cant pronounce it, so she makes it easy and is called that...her hubby calls her Rea, so he doesnt have to say her full name either LOL), took a tumble on the ice on Sunday.
My Wife took her to the Emergency Room shortly aterwards, and they took all kinds of X-rays and said she had a bad bruise!
Well, a few days and she wasnt gettin any relief, even from the vicodin that the Doctors prescribed, so, my Wife convinced her to call the Doctor and get further X-rays, and sure 'nuff, she has a broken pelvis!! (So much for the Emergency Room Doctors, sheesh).
I told my Wife, Im going to be a widow soon LOL... She will have to go to my neighbors house and cook breakfast and supper for that old man!
Plus, she will have o take him to see his wife, and then, its off to Eat n Park, for pancakes, biscuits and sausages LOL...
I understand that this is her 'ministry', to look after old people, but, as long as she can do me a few things, like cook for us, and anything else she is used to doing, I will be happy with that
I expect her to be over his house for six to eight hours a day!! Yep, that old man wants attention all the time, and his Wife cant give it to him, running after him all the time now, so, my Wife will be running after him for awhile.
LORD, dont let Liberty give up and roll over dead, because my Wife promised that old man he can move in with US!! ROTFLOL... I and my Family will want to move out, if he comes to do that...
Personally, I think he needs a Nursing Home, but, his Wife keeps him, so that he is taken care of, but, if it takes my Wife going over there for eight hours a day, so he doesnt come and live with us, then, so be it.
Im hoping my Wife calls his Son from Illinois, and lets him know what happened to his Mother, this way, the nosy Daughter in Law will start sharpening her claws and want to put him immediately in a Nursing Home *sigh*
He is a good old guy, but, just nervous as all get out. Stresses you out, just by being around him!
I sure hope everything goes OK with all of them.
I wish you well...
