New Year!

Well, its been an exciting New Year already at my humble abode...
Son, Daughter, and I, toasted the New Year in with some sparkling BlueBerry Cider, (dont know what else to call it, since I dont have the bottle with me to get the actual name from it now). Wife went to bed early, and I happened to be on my computer, puttering around, so I was up for it this evening.
Of course, Daughter didnt like the Blueberry taste, and ditched hers in the sink.
New Years day, and we had Saurkraut and BBQ Spare Ribs! Yummy!!
Then, my Brother in law's Buddy, happen to call and tell us to tell him that he has a Deer to give away!!!! Yeaaaa Buddy!!
We tell him that we will take it, and send my Brother in Law after it.
So, after supper, we clear the table, do the dishes and all that, then we slap on an old table cloth on the table, and bring that puppy in to clean and slice and dice!
It took us six hours my Wife said, (I think only four, since she tends to exagerate on things us guys ever attempt to do LOL), to clean and bag all the meat we could get off of it.
Some, we let go, (the sides minute steaks), because we couldnt get the 'tallow' (fat) off the meat!! Burned my britches, cause its been over thirty years since I dressed a deer, and I forgot a lot of things in which to do, plus, I didnt have my tools with me to properly dress it out.
We got a good couple of weeks worth of roasts, steaks, stewey meat off of it. (Didnt feel like bringing the old meat grinder up to make hamburger with the rest of it, since we were all tired by the time we were done. Lots of waste, thats for sure...(little pieces could of been grinded up for hamburger, but, not worth it to me).
OH, I found out, on the new computers, you have a Wifi button on there to actually turn the blasted thing off!!! Good thing I have a wonderful Daughter and Sister in Law to unfowl up all my mistakes I make anymore LOL... I couldnt do anything with out you girls
Just wish I had known about that.... It would of saved me a lot of aggravation!!
Now, I can play War of Thunder, (air plane game at which I am lousy, but, I can only get better now LOL).
