Thursday ~~ June 18, 2015 ~~ I won two snowball fights.....

Posted 06-18-2015 at 12:47 AM by CSD610

Only in one game but I won two in a row so that particular achievement award has been earned but I still have one or two more in the other series of the same game.

In other news I have been posting about our search to purchase a home. It has been a very long, very draining, very frustrating search until yesterday, sort of.

We found a home that we absolutely love and it would be perfect for us in every way.
Except, the price is much more than we really want to spend or have access to at this moment. So we must decide if we really like the home enough to spend an extra $25,000.00 to make the purchase. Then if we decide we are willing to spend the additional cost we have to hope that the home is still available when we do have the additional cost saved.

We do not believe in financing anything so the home we purchase will be paid for with cash, in full. That way when the dotted line is signed we will own this home and owe no one anything outside of homeowners insurance and the usual yearly taxes, utilities, repairs, etc.

The only additional thing I can say about the home purchase is film at 11:00......

It is very early in the morning and I am so tired but I still have to put fresh linens on our bed and get it made before I can go to bed. I am also quite tempted to fix one more cup of coffee. I like coffee, a lot and I drink it almost all day in addition to the water I drink and I am fairly certain I have had the same level of caffeine in my system for 20+ years now and that is a lot of caffeine.

I opted for the coffee and putting on the linens and making the bed. It took about 20 minutes to get all of the linens on and the bed made. Do you know how many pillows we have on our bed? I'm sure you really don't know but I am about to tell you and it is an insane amount of pillows for two people to have for one bed.

We have 18 pillows on one bed, yes I said
Eighteen.
I have no idea how we acquired so many pillows or why we have so many pillows. Do you know anyone who has 18 pillows on their bed? I am not talking about decorative pillows either, I am talking about regular traditional lay your head on the pillow and sleep pillows.

Outside of the whirwind trips back home we have taken to look at homes and spend the day with our daughter on her birthday the rest of our life is pretty much the same.
Dull, quiet, boring but we like it that way so that is how it will remain.

I should go for now since it is 1:41am in my part of the world and I have the bed ready for me to get in it.

A few thoughts to ponder if you choose to:

How many pillows do you have on your bed?
How long did it take you to find the home you live in if you purchased the home.
How long did you rent before you made the purchase?
Did you pay cash?

As usual I wish you restful sleep and peaceful dreams when it comes time for you to wander your timbers of slumber.
