The Waiting Room

I hate waiting rooms no matter where they're at,this one was at the auto repair shop. I needed to replace a brake line on my car and I just can't work on these cars anymore. I brought my car up to an auto repair shop and the woman said it would be about an hour before they could work on it.She then asked If I would like to wait and I told her that sounded good to me since my other choice would have been a 10 mile walk home.It was a small waiting room that had a gumball machine,a soda machine and a large picture of a family on the wall which I assumed are the ones that own the shop.There were a few people in there already waiting when I sat down including a woman who spent the whole time hunched over looking at her phone.I sat next to some old guy who was drinking a small carton of chocolate milk and eating a bag of Chili Cheese Fritos.He leaned over and asked if I would like some Chili Cheese Fritos and I told him " No thanks " but I should have thanked him for the ones he gave me when the crumbs flew out of his mouth and landed on my shirt.Some guy came in reeking of gasoline complaining that the gas tank he had work done to still leaked,I immediately looked around to see if anyone was smoking.Soon after that a woman came in with her little kid and when she found out how long it would take decided to come back later.Three hours later they told me my car was ready and as I was writing their check for $375.00 my butt began to get really sore so I limped on out to my vehicle and told it that was all it was going to get from me till next year.
