Which city in Colorado has the most Asian people or is the most Asian-friendly?

How is the interracial communication between White and Asian overall in Colorado?

Any help given will be appreciated.

We are an interracial couple (white husband, Chinese wife) who live in Lafayette, CO (10 miles east of Boulder) since 12/2015. We moved here from Houston, TX. I think CO is rather Asian friendly. As a consultant in the healthcare industry, I travel to offices throughout the state. I personally think there are areas where some people are more curious and some can project stereotype gestures towards Asians rather than discrimination. I remember dining at a restaurant in Colorado Springs by the Air Force Academy once, the team of air force guys in uniform walked in and stared at me as if I were an alien! Like other users who have provided valuable insights, the Aurora area is going to be 'Asia town' of CO. You'll be able to get a variety of Asian cuisine - Chinese, Vietnamese, Koreans, Japanese and Thai foods as well as numerous large grocery stores, but CO definitely lacks the specialty restaurants. I love mala and cannot find a good Sichuan/Mala restaurant in the area. I have yet to find a good ramen or a banh mi restaurants. Please, please, please do not try banh mi at Kim's food to go in Boulder... I went to Vietnam this past July and had some finger-licking banh mi. Hubby bought me one from Kim's in August and it was the worst I've ever had in America; compared to any banh mi I've ever had in Seattle, Portland, SF, LA, Houston and NY.

It also depends on how 'Asian' you are. You get either the very Americanized Asians or the new immigrants. My husband often teases me that I am the most Americanized Asian he knows. Since I work for a fortune 6 company and also as a contractor for multiple linguistic companies in interpretation and translation (mostly in healthcare, manufacturing, government and finance projects), the shows and music I watch and listen to are in Asian languages (so my vocabularies do not get rusty!). My knowledge about American pop culture is extremely limited! But you can fall on either end of the spectrum. Since I embrace diversity and my husband and I own an international manufacturing consulting company, Denver is not one of my top choices.

When we lived downtown Houston, our neighbors were literately from all over the world. Here in our neighborhood it's mostly folks who love the outdoors (and sun) from all across the US.

The Boulder area has a lot of smart people! More and more are coming from CA. A neighbor told me recently Google is bringing in 1,500 people? There will be quite a few Asians there! Boulder is a beautiful city, but be prepared to pay to play .
