What is the most illogical fashion or beauty trend you have come across?

Where do I even start? :huge rant ahead:

Men's suits today. Like younger brother's 3 size smaller and put on in a hurry. The oposite would be 80's with their scarecrow look. But at least you didn't sweat so much in them, I suppose.

Tatoos on all women and most men. There is one type of guy they look good on. Big, muscular, bald or long haired. Anything gangsta, martial-art or heavy metal - it works. Anything else, it doesn't.

Also those ugly black earlobe piercings that men have. Forget the infection, they look like one.

Which reminds me of hipster fashion in general - those stupid wool caps, especially when worn in warm weather. Idiotic beards and moustaches. Again, there is a small number of men they look good on. But not one is younger than 40.

Low cut jeans on women - fits absolutely no one except a rare tall, skinny, long legs, small torso female. And if a girl has only 3 pounds extra around the hips and waist, all three of them are bound to appear as a muffin top, however small and ruin the figure, however nice it may be. Not to mention that there will be generations of women with health problems later in life because of this idiocy. Good that waist cut recently appeared.

Thongs - they appeared when I was still young and slim, but Gees. Bought one, wore it once. Talk about uncomfortable.

Fashion is inherently silly.
