Installing Google Play Store on newer Huawei phone like Y6p Y7p Emui Android 10

If you found this blog, likely you already tried many ways to install Google Play Store on your phone. I found a fix that worked for me. VMOS Pro is a 700+ MB program that operates a virtual machine in parallel to Huawei operating system. It allowed me to use Google Play Store, and in turn install Google Chrome, Google Maps, and WhatsApp. Equally important, many of my apps I downloaded using Aurora Store will launch. They no longer give the message you must have the latest Google Play Store.

Likely by now you already attempted to use Chat Partner and Google Services or Google Framework. You might also have tried Petal. Those routes may have worked for some people. However, I believe Huawei has closed off those loop holes to get Google.

You might as well delete any apps that you installed that do not work without an operational Google Play Store. The one app to keep is called Aurora Store. Some apps would not work under the VMOS virtual environment but would work on Huawei as normal.

The reason to clean out the nonworking apps and any Chrome you installed is keeping them takes up room may prevent operation under VMOS Pro.

VMOS Pro is big and you likely need a good WiFi to get a clean install. Go directly to the website http://VMOS.com

Down load and install the VMOS Pro. During the install select the option to Overwrite. A VMOS icon is your entry point from the Huawei main screen. After the program loads, click the bottom right arrow on the miniature cell phone image. Enter the program and select VM Settings. The third entry is Google Services. Turn it on. Then reboot.

To exit program click the button midway up screen on right. .

When you next go into the program look for an up arrow. Click that and Google Play Store should be present log into your google account. If not, go into the generic browser and go to Google.com and log into your Google account there.

Things do not work as easily in this virtual machine and you must manually put in passwords.

Load and try all your apps using Google Play in the virtual machine first. If it doesn't work try Aurora Store in this Huawei environment.

Note:.If you have files you want to use in the virtual machine, you must import them. Use the file import. Imported files are stored on your SD card. Folder name begins with VMOS
