Good bye and good riddance! You came into my life nearly 40 years ago when I was young and vulnerable and eager to be an adult. I didn't like you or your effects on me at first, and my body tried desperatly to warn me You caught me at every opportunity you could and took advantage of me, and like a child, I succumbed

You have used me and abused me for forty years! No more, I refuse to let you wear me down and possibly be the death of me! Out of my life..NOW!

Even now as I have made my mind up, you beg me to let you continue to be my constant companion..NO!!I don't need you any more, you are garbage and to the garbage can is where you are going!

With that entry into my private journal, I discarded my cigarettes nearly two years ago and quit with the Chantix pill

    Chantix...a miracle for a lot of us...been smoke free since 3/1/08 and have no regrets or cravings!

    My Husband also Quit Smoking after 30+ years with this Medication. Now with the high cost of cigarettes, he keeps a monthly figure of how much money he has saved by Quitting right on the Refrigerator door. You would be amazed just how much you save, not to mention saving your health. I am very Proud of him! It has been since February 18th and he hasn't looked back once!
