my best friend and boyfriend hate each other

I met my best friend in middle school.We've had our differences from time to time bc she can get an attitude, but were mostly very close. My boyfriend came into the picture 3 1/2 years ago and their relationship has gone from hating each other to loving each other to hating each other again. Recently, my boyfriend's best friend started going out with my best friend. In the beginning it was great. We would all hang out together and it was great.
Things turned ugly quick though. My boyfriend and my best friend's attitudes got the best of them and he called her bipolar. A subject shes quite sensitive to because her mother was diagnosed with the disease several years ago.
IS it wrong that i gave up trying to make them friends again? Thier fight is affecting not only themselves but my relationship with my bf, her relationship with her bf, my bf's relationship with his best friend, and my relationship with her. She says that her bf and i shouldnt have allowed something like that to happen and that she doesnt want her bf talking to his best friend (my bf).
help. im tired of it. her bf keeps telling me that we should try to get them at least to be civil to each other. Ive battled with thier disagreements for years but idc anymore. idk why she cant just move on and just be ok with not hanging out with him., she says she wants to be friends agian but not after we "do something":smack:

well it sounds like to me all 3 hasnt grown up enough to deal with it! and that its time to either let go of the bfs and save ur friendship or let go of ur friendship and b with ur bf!!! but if i was u id choose my bff! over any guy! guys come and go but a friendship last 4 ever!!Posted 11-08-2008 at 06:46 AM by zanie102
