I Asked Jesus to come into my Heart

It was the year of 1984, the second Sunday of September, at Artisan Christian Fellowship, that I asked Jesus to come into my Heart. The Pastor is Pastor Norman. I remember it so well, I was sitting in the last row of the church, so as soon as church was over I would slip out the door. But that didn't happen, he gave the call for Salvation and sat there it was on the third call that I went up. He told me that the power that will come through him is from God and not him, for he was a vessel that God was using, he asks me if I was ready and I said, he said are sure, and I said yes, and then he ask me the third time and I said yes, then Pastor Norman told me to ask Jesus to come into your heart. I open my mouth and asked Jesus to come into my heart, Pastor laid His hand on my head and I remember going down and the person behind me caught me. (no the pastor did not push me) after a while, I got up and was taken to another part of the church and handed a booklet to read. When I walked out of the church these were the words that came out of the mouth. "Who washed the World", it was if someone had come along and washed down all the buildings on the block, they were so clean, I realize it was my dirty sin that was washed away. My life has been so different and so great, I can not complain. Yes, I had ups and downs, but there is nothing like having Jesus in your life and God to go to in time of trouble and asked for help or forgiveness. It is wonderful and good life. God Bless
