How fair and balanced is this forum when the mods edit post to go along with thier own personal beliefs a place where you post your thoughts and they cut it down to go along with their beliefs who controls the people in charge ???? Admin you must take the time to check your people there is gross misconduct going on at your forum. The system for the most part works but you have mods drunk with power not being fair to the posters.

IMHO mods are unpaid volunteers who for the most part do a good job and put up with much baloney from the morally outraged.
administrator in charge is markablue.
thanks moderators.

Try to remember that the moderators are human. They are not flawless and mistakes are always possible. None of us live perfect lives.

In general, I've found the moderators to excel at keeping our forum clear of spam, advertising, trolls, arguments, flame wars and more. There have been times that I've disagreed with the actions of a moderator - and I've told him or her what I believed privately - but that does not diminish the respect that I have for the very difficult job they do. Moderators are not always going to agree with you but I've found them to be true to the terms of service, which is more important.

Rather than posting your displeasure, it's always better to contact Yac or Markablue and ask them to review the situation. They might see things your way, reverse the decision, and clarify the situation for the moderator, which helps the mod perform even better.

I cannot begin to imagine how unusable this forum would be without the moderators - who actually do what they do as volunteers!

Well, said Charley. I tried, but couldn't come up with anything that well said. Good job.

I wish I had the TIME to be a mod. Unfortunatley, I have to work 10 hours a day.

From my experience of coming up on two years and many hours and posts here, I have never noticed any mod acting out of "gross misconduct" as the op claims..If one follows the TOS and shows a bit of politeness to other posters I don't see that he has a complaint..I admire the work and hours the mods volunteer here..(I imagine some of the things behind scenes with some posters would curl my hair). If a person is dissatisfied here, there are thousands of other message boards out there.. You will have a hard time finding one as good, clean, and helpful as CD..

I have already stated my admiration for the political Mods - but I should have encompassed the rest of the Mods on the forum. You guys are either truly level-headed and fair, or you are insane to put up with some of the mess you do! LOL

Since I have interacted with a lot of you, I find that you don't seem nuts - (on the most part ) - so you must genuinely want to participate and monitor this forum and allow the rest of us a great place to come to.

At first I thought ya'll were just really exceptional people to do all that you do, but I am now beginning to think you must be on a mission from God!

Anyhow, I appreciate you and am very grateful to have a forum like this, that is on the most part, a great place to visit!
