Are there any pics posted here of Alabama? I just spoke with a relative who has been there on business and she was in a smaller town near Montgomery. She said it was beautiful there. Also, the area around Mobile is supposed to be nice. Any pics?

If you go to www.city-data.com and navigate to the state and then the city, most will show pictures of that area. I know mobile has some pics on there.

A couple people here said they were going to post some pics of the Huntsville area. I am curious if anyone has any pictures of the fall colors. Thanks!

vmh2507, Thank for the pictures. I love your maple trees. How long did the red colors last?

Those red maples are beautiful! Did you take the pic in the autumn cause it looks like the trees were losing their leaves? I didn't realize your area didn't stay green all year long.

Boomer, Jammie, I have a couple of seasonal pix on the Huntsville main page already including one with white cotton fields in the foreground and fall leaves on the hills behind.

The pictures I posted were from last fall and the color had already been around at that time for about 2 weeks. It was getting close to the end of color. This was in Huntsville which is pretty close to the TN state line.
