I was driving to some client meetings today around Birmingham, and it's spectacular. Wow.

Tree colors seem to be really changing fast here in the Huntsville area.

Do we think we are close to the peak autumn colors? I was planning on taking a photo shoot this Saturday. Should I wait another week?

According to the weather man in Huntsville, we are at peak now. Charles, I would take pictures ASAP.

It is beautiful up here on Brindlee Mountain

Peaking and very beautiful in my neck of the woods in Mentone on Lookout Mtn....won't be long before they're all on the ground. These last few days of warm weather have really brought out the ladybugs, wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets!

I drove to Huntsville this morning and then to Birmingham. Peak of the season! Not so many red leaves this year. If we have a lot of wind with Friday's expected rain, this weekend's color will not be so great.
Shoot those pix NOW!!!

Yeah, last weekend was primetime. It's already beginning to fade. And with a few days of rain on tap, it's likely that it will be mostly gone by next week.
