Ok, I'll be out there Sat-Sun, and maybe skip work on Monday too if the weather stays so nice. Rance, you guys planning on camping at the hot springs themselves, or along the road in the State Recreation area?

We're planning on camping right at the springs. They have a small campground on the left as you enter the grounds. And you get free hot springs. I think it runs about 10 bucks for a camp site.

Rance: What night(s) do you think you'll be at the springs? Don't want to take the spontaneity out of your vacation, but I'm cheap and don't want to pay the campground fee if nobody else is there.
1stimestar: I'll be out there Sat. (tomorrow) night for sure - I'll give you a call if we don't actually meet up at the springs.
UAFYankee: If you're reading, I can give you a ride out to the springs early tomorrow and/or a ride back on Sunday. I'll want to do some substantial hiking during the day tomorrow though, so bring your boots!

We're heading out the door right now. Will probably camp near Talkeetna tonight, then work toward Fairbanks tomorrow. I'm thinking we may spend tomorrow night and maybe Sunday night at Chena. We'll give you a shout Heathen!
