This caribou was found frozen in place on a site inspection on the North Slope. That is some cold weather.... temps were down in the -40s F and wind chills to -70 to -80.

Something doesn't seem right there. Why didn't the wind blow the caribou over?
And freezing in mid stride..hmm

Looks like a stuffed animal that was placed there. If it froze dead in tracks, why would the tracks look fresh where it's standing and not filled in? It's a hoax.

It must be the work of Aliens (the outer space kind, not the one's from the sanctuary thread).

I heard about this from one of my crews. I heard it was on the way to Milne. I guess it tricked a lot of people. Someone found it dead on the ground and stood it up there is what I had heard. It cold up here but not that cold. I think Rance or his brother was talking about this at dinner one night too. I might be wrong, but he might know more.

There is at least one redneck on the slope.

What gave it off is the broken snow at the feet. You can tell it was placed there.

Yep, they should have left it and come back in a month to let the snow drifts accumulate around the legs.
