I am a travel nurse and thinking of going to Barrow, AK in April. Is April a good time to go or should I go another time of the year? I'm from FL but have been in MO the past 6 months. Does anyone have any suggestions to make about travel there, living quarters and transportation to and from hospital? Ready for the adventure! I'm open for suggestions!

Not only that but its a pretty recent and updated topic, i would hate having to repost or cut and paste everything here.

Bring some light long sleeved shirts, better protection from Alaska's state bird...
